World-renowned International footballer
Aaron Ramsey is a world-renowned International footballer playing for both Arsenal and Wales. The 26-year-old midfielder – famous for his prodigious playmaking talent, is back from a very successful Euros with Wales where he was described as one of the shining stars of the tournament.
The all-round midfielder is strong in the tackle, has tremendous stamina, an eye for a pass and also weighs in with his fair share of goals. Now with more than 250 first-team Arsenal appearances to his name since his debut at the age of 17, Aaron developed steadily since joining from Cardiff City in 2008. Aaron was also the fifth-youngest scorer in Champions League history when he scored his first goal for Arsenal against Fenerbahce. His most famous goal to date is certainly the winner in the 2014 FA Cup final.
Aaron remains Cardiff’s youngest ever first-team player, and he returned to his boyhood club on loan in 2011 while recovering from the serious leg injury he suffered at Stoke City in February 2010. A regular Wales international since 2008, he was instrumental for his country at Euro 2016, scoring in the group stage win over Russia as they went on to reach the semi-final. He was later named in the UEFA Team of the Tournament.
