With over six million followers across her combined social channels, Saffron Barker, is a 20-year old force to be reckoned with. Her sparkling personality exudes through her lifestyle, beauty, fashion and challenge videos, never disappointing her fan base.
Starting her channel in 2015 whilst on a family holiday, she began filming her videos on her phone whilst looking for a new way to fulfil her passion for entertaining. Leaving school after her GCSEs and with her channel rapidly growing, Saffron went full time with a career in social media and hasn’t looked back.
Her popularity and the internet’s demand for more Saffron, has seen her branch out in to merchandise, release her own Sunday Times number-one bestselling book and collaborate on three successful homeware ranges with Primark. Her highly engaged UK audience has led to a number of successful brand collaborations and campaigns with major global brands such as Disney, Missguided and Urban Decay.
Alongside her social media and commercial work Saffron is a supporter of several charities including Make A Wish, who she ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon for. She also completed the London Marathon in Spring 2019, running for Dementia Revolution in memory of her great-grandad Ted. Saffron also participated in The Greatest Dancer for Sport Relief 2020.
In 2019 her dream of competing on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing became a reality, where her abilities as a natural born performer, coupled with hard work and dedication saw her make it to week 10 of the show with partner AJ Pritchard, confirming her place on the UK mainstream talent circuit. She then joined the nationwide Strictly Come Dancing Tour in early 2020, and shortly after was announced as the face of skincare brand Biore.
Most recently, Saffron has launched her own collection with fashion brand In The Style, which saw the first release selling out in a record breaking six minutes.
